It’s almost July again and this means that it’s almost time for the 26th annual of the Aruba Hi-Winds!
After the great success of last year anniversary we have to make it bigger this year!
A week full of surf disciplines like the usual slalom, long distance and freestyle competitions will turn back! Beside these great surfshows there are great side events present on the site! And in the weekend we will make you happy with many live performance of several artists and DJ’s.

The 26th annual of the Aruba Hi-Winds will start on the 3rd of July and will end the 9th of July.
Registration on Tuesday the 3rd of July!

25th Aruba Hi- Winds  Grand Slam Pro- Am 2011

Het duurt nog even maar de voorbereiding is alweer in volle gang: Aruba Hi- Winds 2011, celebrating its 25th anniversary!

De Aruba Hi- Winds is al 25 jaar het grootste surfevenement van de Caribbean. In 1985 werd er begonnen met een windsurf evenement voor Arubanen, waarna in 1986 de PWA besloot dit evenement op te nemen in hun worldtour. Tot midden jaren ’90 waren alle topwindsurfers te zien op de stranden van Aruba. En nu, na een afwezigheid van zo’n 15 jaar komen ze weer! De PWA Grand Slam zal van 19 juni tot en met 26 juni gehouden worden op de Fishermen’s Huts op Aruba.
 
Na een rust van drie dagen zal van 29 juni tot en met 4 juli de Aruba Hi Winds zijn 25 jarige bestaan vieren! De disciplines Long distance, Slalom en Freestyle zullen voor zowel Windsurfers als Kitesurfers zijn. Als vanouds zal er hard gevaren worden, maar natuurlijk zullen de feesten het 25 jarige bestaan ondersteunen! Bands, Dj’s en leuke side events zullen er voor zorgen dat zowel de deelnemer als de toeschouwer genoeg vermaakt wordt om er een gedenkwaardig evenement van te maken!
