3:1 GEAR RATIO - The M1 has a reduction gear drive that allows you to tighten the binding very tight (WARNING: This works so well that you can over tighten your binding and cut off circulation to your feet. So crank it down, but don’t over do it).
ON THE FLY ADJUSTMENT – The M1 is the ONLY binding that can be adjusted easily while riding and loosened on the water with ease.
CRANK DOWN FOR ROTATIONAL TRICKS – When you don’t want your board to come off, gusty conditions, contests, rotational tricks, etc – get them tight and you’ll spend a lot less time working upwind for your board and more time riding.
LOOSEN FOR BOARD OFF MANUEVERS – The most common problem, if your bindings are tight enough to give you the performance you need, how can you easily get your foot in and out of the binding when you want to take your board off?
