Heej,
There ar plenty of schools. In Ijmuiden there is ´Coraaltje` with its own school. Check the links here on kitehigh...
If you are a beginner, you can´t rent stuff. Becouse you smash it...
So take lessons and buy cheap 2nd hand stuf, and pray for some wind.

You can only rent stuff if you've had lessons. Most of the times they ask you to show your IKO card or other certificate/proof that you are able to surf on your own (IKO level 3)

I think that I should have some more lessons anyway... I can go to the right but left... not. Body dragging back, hehehe If it is far from Hilversum, I dont care actualy thay much. What do you think about the Muidenberg? I think I am going to check it right after work.  )) |

Hi Ewa,
If you're still learning it's a good idea to take another lesson.
Muiderberg is not really a beginner spot. If the wind direction is good, strand Horst near Harderwijk is a good option. There is a kiteschool and you can rent there as well.
Very close to Hilversum is also a kite spot, called Stichtse brug.
And you can go to the KITECHIX WEEKEND. (more info on this site)
Do you have a car? that makes kiting al lot easier.
I also live in Hilversum and if you have any questions, just sent an email.

I am planning to go to Rotterdam this weekend. The place where my friend lives is called Zevenkamp (hope this is right). Close to his place should be big lake, does anyone knows if I can take lessons there?

no zevenkamp is forbidden to kite. I suggest to you drive 40 kilometers downwards to Oostvoorne, the best place for beginners near Rotterdam..

i had my kite lessons @ oostvoorne wich whas absolutly great! , although i wouldn't go there as a rookie bcus it is quite busy over there!

I checked some webs in oostvoorne, there are few schools. Got in contact with Koen from http://www.natural-high.nl/, he is a little busy but maybe this weekend I can have few hours with him. I will check it out and if it's to many people there, I will go somewhere else. I can not wait... )) |
