Beach is very crowded beach in summer, lots of surf schools and dive boats take direction
from the lifeguards if unsure.
Lauch between 200 and 500m from the Pass (eastern end of Beach)
STAY OUT OF THE FLAGS and keep more than 60mts away from swimmers.

Good beach for downwinders - take caution at high tide with narrow busy beach.
Avoid beach north of cosy corner vehicle access track due to hang glider landing area and strong
current around Cape Byron.

http://www.nswkba.com.au/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=53&Itemid=103Ik meen te lezen gehebben dat je op de main beach niet meer mag kitesurfen vanwege een aantal incidenten met toeristen, alleen surfen is nog toegestaan. Maar ik als ik jou was zou ik wat meer locaties in Oz proberen.
Ik zit rond die tijd ook daar ergens, als je wilt kun je een smsje achterlaten tegen die tijd op 0406220388. Ik ben er dan ook aan t kitesurfen.
