The Custom Wide 139 is specifi cally for ultra-light-wind conditions. Though people might say, “What in the world is that?” as you walk by, you will be the fi rst one on the water while everyone else waits for it to pick up! The Custom Wide is in a class all by itself, not to be compared with any of our other twin tips.

Some other brands make boards for light wind that require very diffi cult board trim and get out of control as soon as the wind reaches a moderate speed. We engineered the shape and fl ex of the Custom Wide 139 to meet the same light wind threshold while still offering fun, controllable performance when the wind picks up.

The 139 gets you going with very little wind, rockets upwind and is super easy to ride. Because of the ability of the Custom Wide to perform not only for light wind kiters, but also for beginners, we offer it in two constructions. One with a fl y-weight gel-coat fi nish delivering top performance for intermediate and advanced riders, and one for beginners with added top and bottom laminates of our most durable “dura-clear” fi nish.
