Murphy News - Sunrise session on rails
12:53 @ 02-02-09, 179 keer bekekenHi Folks,
Training in Egypt was perfect and now I'm flying back home to swap the water for snow!
During my time by the Red Sea I mastered a lot of new tricks and took the occasional knock. One memorable session stands out when we went night kiting in 30 knots, armed with an Ozone Sport II 9 on short lines and under a full moon. We wanted to spray the car that was standing very close to the beach.
Unfortunately I made it too close and landed on my butt on the sand, looped the kite and gained some unexpected air - luckily it was a case of loss of dignity rather than anything more serious and proves the value of your parent's advice not to play by the road! We took a lot of good photos and had some epic sessions in the lagoons around El Gouna.
I'm sending you the shots of my sunset and sunrise sessions on the slider I made. Aaron Hadlow used my slider when he was in Hurghada. I would like to thank all the builders who contributed: Berry and Koniu and special thanks to Aaron who put the plywood on both sides :)
