Summertime in Raglan>>
23:45 @ 18-06-09, 262 keer bekekenHowdy Folks welcome back for another Raglan sessions update! Last time you remember the local crew not only riding with Orca whales, but also jumping over them.....and Dragons, and UFOs and rainbows.
Well this time we have a video of a very strange phenomenon in Raglan known as a Howling fricken easterly. Yes this phenomenon has been rare in the past but revealing itself more and more due to Global warming. Not the global warming everyone is talking about, the other global warming, caused by the dragon living underneath the UFO in Raglan.
Matt, Rob, Hugh and Myself braved the day to battle 30 knot plus gust megaloops to put the 6m light and 7m sports through the spin cycle. Small kites rule! Both kites handled the jandal, cut the mustard, or whatever you say when you megaloop a kite and stomp that landing! Matts Double megaloops are a must see, a worthy step up from riding with Killer whales. For the rest of us, after 200 megaloops we called it a session, happy with the kites and how they twirl in the wind weeeee!
Right now the 2010 kites are going through the paces, and I must say you will all be impressed!
Stay tuned for sneak previews!... Catch ya in the breeze
