Kari>>1st in racing 2nd in Freestyle>>France KPWT

France and the 4th round of KPWT are over. It was a nice event, with a lot of fun. The wind was light the whole week but we finished freestyle and racing. In racing I was well prepared with my new Zephyr 17m light wind kite. I was a bit nervous to put up a 17m kite (it was the biggest kite on the beach and I was not the biggest person hehe) but I have to say it was amazing. It was gusty wind with big holes in the racing area but with the Zephyr kite I managed to keep the speed independently of the wind. With 5 knot or with 12 knot I was still going well upwind and downwind. After 3 races  I got 1st and I was really happy about this.

In freestyle I got 2nd and I got my best result in the world tour ever. I lost against Gisella Pulido from Spain in the final. I am really happy with my result here in France and I have to say thanks to Ozone for the help with the amazing light wind kite, Zephyr, but also for the Sport kites. Without this I could never manage this, thanks.

Next event is in a few days in Canada. I am looking forward to going there.
