Lex Dekker in Tarifa

This winter I spent 2 weeks in Tarifa, during Christmas and New year. From the first day of arrival I was able to ride almost everyday, in all possible conditions.

I’ve had easy winds, which were perfect to test my C4 11m and 13m, and storm winds, perfect for my 9m and 7m. The 13 makes it possible for me to ride in lighter conditions or in use with bindings, the kite is fast, extremely powerful with so much pop and lift. On the other side, the 7 is the same but smaller, the kite feels as friendly as the 13. With this small one you can ride in the strongest conditions without feeling unsafe or too over powered. I can ride it with 70 kilos up to 40/45 knots.

The C4 is just perfect. With the new C bridled shape, the kite is wide open but explosive as can be, and the re-designed details are awesome. With the longer one-pump hoses you are able to get it pumped up much quicker and also pack it way faster. The graphics & color scheme is wicked and there are 3 bar-pressure setups.

The new bar is nice, feels good in the hands joined by more grip with the redesigned stick, the rest is like before, easy, simple, perfect. The re-launch is still quick by pulling your steering line, no worries when waves come over it. The kite gives a lot of pop and keeps dragging when unhooked. With this little drag you keep feeling the kite, which is lovely to me.
