After months of intense training and testing the Ozone team is ready for the racing to begin. All of the team members are raving about the improved performance of the 2010 Ozone Edge Race Series kite.
Adam and Andrew Koch have been training in the local conditions for several weeks leading up to the worlds. The performance and handling characteristics of the new Edge has the team feeling confident about their kites. Adam Koch describes the Edge as flying more like a wing than a traditional kite. Chip Wasson feels like he is getting a 15 percent increase in upwind performance.
With all eyes on Texas, the Ozone team is feeling confident, dialed and excited about competing in the World Championships.
Opening ceremonies begin tonight at 7pm local time at the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi.
