I have been here some days now and the conditions have not been really good the last few days. It’s been light wind and no waves. But the forecast looks promising for the next few days and I think it will be a nice competition here.
Its freestyle and waves in this competition and there are more people signing in for waves then freestyle, what I think is good. For the men there will be trials and for the women, I think its 12 riders. Its good that the waves are getting more and more popular for the riders. Maybe next year we will have more events :)  I can still hope.
The conditions here in El Medano are not really good. The "wave" spot is hard and full of rocks and the wave is just closing out. For freestyle it’s gusty and choppy.  So lets see who can handle the conditions best.
