05:15 @ 19-01-11, 389 keer bekekenIn the end of November we had the Ozone team come and pay us a visit, it was great to catch up with all the crew and also meet the people we hadn’t met in the past. Three days of partying and playing with our new 2011 toys which happened to arrive at the same time. There was a big Full Moon Party on Saturday which got shut down too early and we had a great last dinner on Sunday with Hugh showing his magical karaoke skills which impressed us all.
From all of us in Vietnam it was great to see and meet you all and hope you have a fantastic 2011.
About Vietnam
Muine had a bit of an average start to the season for wind this year, too much rain and cloud did not help us, it seems to have all gone and finally the season has started to kick in. All of us at Vietnam Kitesurfing Tours have been busy though due to luck of having good wind and waves up at our spot in the Military Zone. It has been epic up there this year, big swell and strong winds riding the 7m and 5m C4 2011 most of the days!
We are pretty stoked with the improvements. a bit more power in the turns, more power at the edge of the window, faster steering and more power overall this in combination with that fantastic built in C4 feeling from 2010 its a killer kite!
The bar looks cleaner and is even more easy to use. We love it. The kites are very popular here in Mui Ne and even the Vietnamese local freestyle hero’s make it their kite of choice now! Good to see.
We had a great shoot with our personal friend and photographer Grahame Booker in Phan Rang, check the attached pictures! Thanks for the effort Grahame!!!!!!
Last weekend the KTA started with a good group of Ozone riders at the starting line, with Yo from Thailand coming in 3rd place in freestyle, Kin and Phi (local Ozone riders) 2nd and 3rd in the twintip course race! Well done boys! Ozone was well presented on the water.
Hope everyone at Ozone and all the people that ride Ozone have a fantastic 2011 from all the crew in Vietnam!!!!! Come and visit us one day :)
