Alberto Prieto >> Ripping with the new 2011 kites in Spain

Here is a news just in from our Spanish importer Kite Frenzy, who has just sent the 2011 kites to rider Alberto Prieto, best of luck for all the competitions in 2011!

I had a great day of wind in Conil (Cadiz) to try out my new C4 and Edge 2011 kites with 15-18knot side-off shore winds (east). The day started with a session of Racing with my Edge 13m, where I learned that this year I reached a peak speed of 32knots/h with my board at a considerably tight angle. The flat water with side-off shore wind helped enough to enjoy the high speeds reached...

Then the time came for some Freestyle, I changed to my C4 for its first session in the pool of Conil. There was good wind for 9m, and the show started... s-bend, kiteloops, railey to blind, slim chance, blind judge and attempts to kiteloop 3. I had an incredible sensation with my new C4, it greatly facilitated handle passes.

To conclude the day, we went to the sea to take advantage of a small wave and ride side-off something with some flats on the crest of the wave...
