I swapped my winter stuff with summer clothing and went to Cape Town for a month :) it is my first time here and I got the information that the water was cold and the wind normally was strong. I packed my 4, 5, 6 and 8m kites and was ready to ride some waves.

Cape town has been amazing and I love it here. Its sunny, windy, waves, lagoons, nice people, nice city, good food and its cheap :) what more do I want.

I have been to different spots and its crazy how many nice spots they have here. The most popular place is Big Bay where you have a lot of people. But if you just drive a bit downwind or upwind of Big Bay then you can find places where you are alone.

I spent most of the days with my 5m C4 and it’s a really nice kite for freestyle and waves. It’s fast and stable, it’s an easy kite to ride and to control. good hang time and nice to do wake style with. It has good de-power so if the wind picks up its easy to handle and you can still go on with your jumps :)  I talked to some people here in SA and all are impressed with the new C4 kite. I have to say I agree with this and thumbs up for Ozone.

The 4m Catalyst is the smallest kite I have. It’s the kite I use when it’s really windy. I can hold it up to 45 knots and still have control and surf. It’s an easy kite and its really good for new beginners or kids. I am in love with this kite because without it I would have to spend many days watching because the wind is to strong.
