After the Girl camp in Morocco where we had flat water and perfect conditions for freestyle, I went strait up north in Spain to try to find some waves.

The conditions looked good when I came and it also got better. There were days with super strong wind, (yes for my 4m Catalyst) and big messy waves, conditions were hard but good for training. With these conditions you get a reminder that yes, waves have power and they are stronger then you :) But the swell dropped and in the end I got some normal nice days.

After 2 weeks playing in the Spanish waves I went on a tour with Dwarf8.

Dwarf8 now has clothing in 12 different El Courte Ingles and that’s why we went to do some promoting for them. Beat who is the owner of the brand has made a Dwarf custom kite with Ozone and this kite was with us on the tour.

I had an infection in my foot when we started the tour and it just got worse and worse so I stopped in at the Pharmacy to get some supplies to hold the pain. The tour went really good and it was also fun for me to meet a lot of new people. On the plane home I was happy to go home because the conditions looked promising there.


My foot got worse, and going to the doctor was suddenly more of a necessity than going in the water. I went to the doctors and then the hell started. Now one week later I am still in the hospital and have had 3 operations on my leg. I had a big infection from a bite or the water in Morocco and it made my blood level higher then normal.

I now hope it will heal good so I can enjoy the waves again soon, hopefully with the new REO wave kite from OZONE :)
