21:16 @ 02-03-12, 325 keer bekekenDecember 12th 2012 finally saw the wind play ball for the Hong Kong Kiteboard Federation (HKKF) and allowed it to successfully complete its first national class race day on Hong Kong waters. The winds here can be very fickle and it can take a lot of commitment to get a weekend day-off and enough knots to work in combo. Billed as the HK New Year’s Race it has taken three hits to pull it off, so lucky we have two New Year’s to choose from over here. Certainly it was worth the wait in the end for the fantastic atmosphere and competiveness that marked the day.
