Voor wie het weten wil..

Feedback from the show is as follows:

-Feel is very refined- a Smooth kite with Predictable Behaviour.
-As Promised, Stability and Relaunch are excellent. Both Improvements over last year.
-Expect Great power, boost and upwind, like last year's kites.
-Depower is around 80-90%.
-To settle the debate, the kite does not have leading edge battens.
-Upwind is insane on all sizes, and bar pressure is light.
-Turning is very fast for kites that size, but not wave kite fast- Similar to the Hyper 1
-10.5 is a magic size. It's got killer boost and quick turning, though not as fast as the 9 Meter (no surprise).
-Also, the 15 got excellent reviews, offering a smooth feel and tons of power; the impression is that it's not just a big guy's kite..
-All of the sizes had people coming back for repeat Demos, Including customers who were loyal to other brands. One customer is trying to talk his favorite store into carrying RRD this year based on his experience with the Hyper 2.

Is nu door een andere ontwerper onder handen genomen. Klinkt in ieder geval goed.

Hi.

I have the 10.5 and 12m sizes of the Hypertype2 which I received recently and as well ride the 7, 9, 12, and 15m Type 9. I have ridden the Type 9 kites for 4-5 months now and am very impressed with them.

I was able to ride the 12m HT2 for the first time for about 1 hour last weekend in about 13-25mph gusty winds.

Quick review:
The HT2 seems very stable (especially in the gusty winds), goes upwind very well, allows you to ride fast, and jumps well. Seemed to have little bit better lowend than 12m Type9. The HT2 kiteloops well also, but I prefer the Type 9 for kiteloops (seems a little more refined for them). Also the Type 9 seems a little faster turning.

I will be using the HT2 for racing, jumping big, and freeriding.

I will continue to use Type 9 for wave riding and freestyle.

The new global bar works great also. Very clean setup, seems durable, and works great on both kites.

Once I get more time on the HT2, I will write more.

Also, check out the Poison board from RRD this year. Incredible pop and very smooth ride. I ride the 131x40.

Ik wil hem zeker testen, vooral in de maat 12/13m2.

In welke maten komen ze? Kon dat niet vinden op de website
