Just curious if Best is gonna roll out one of those delta shape kites(north rhino/f-one bandit dos) in the future. Hearing they have alot of power for their size and I need all I can get during light wind summers- preferably from a smaller kite than a blimp.
Peter is working hard on a new kite. because we took the decision to drop the Yarga this year Peter finally has enough time to work on a completely new design.
He's been exploring several different concepts, ultra high aspect sle and low aspect truncated tip designs. He's currently working on some truncated tip|delta shapes.
We'll see what he comes up with, I'll be heading out to meet hi and ride some proto's in a few weeks.

The Yarga has been dropped because it wasn't an effective use of Peter's time to develop it for 09. We wanted to try out some completely new designs that should have wider rider appeal, and that meant giving Peter some breathing space.
I'm sure the kite that results from this free time in Peter's schedule will be much more popular than the Yarga was. Pure C-kites are like Pickle fork boards, they've had their day, some people love them and that's great but that should not get in the way of progress.
Who knows you guys might like this even more?

last word from Steve Verelst who is testing with Peter is that it flys like the 'Dos' but has a lighter bar and goes upwind like stink.
Peter has been messing with a funky short bridle set up that gives and eliptical COE positioning as you depower, so it goes way back into the window as well without stalling.

ETA: march or sooner
